There are 3 construction phases. The project proposals were prepared in cooperation with Neubrau and the technical design by Maspro. Phase 1 consists of the construction of a new extension, 4 storeys, area 1650m2. The extension provides classrooms for various subjects, benches in the corridors and new sanitary facilities.
After the completion of all phases, the school is expected to have 53 classrooms, 50-60 staff and up to 1200 students. The building is designed to have an energy efficiency class A++. The façades of the extension are made of matt fibre concrete panels, thus creating a contrast between the existing façades and the new ones. Sustainable and durable materials have been selected to meet both the quality and the requirements of modern architectural trends. To protect the facades from excessive solar heat, part of the facades are to be covered with sloping and tilted slats, and multi-functional (tinted) windows with solar control.
