This home addition integrates a modern kitchen and living spaces while enhancing the existing design. The kitchen mirrors the house’s original bump-out, extending it further to form a cohesive U-shape. The decision to form a U-shaped layout not only maximizes space, but also optimizes the flow of natural light and air across the galley kitchen. Large windows wrap around the room, flooding the space with natural light and offering views of the new outdoor patio.
