Within the historic architecture of the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), this specimen-rich gallery dramatically reveals breathtaking collections and illustrates three key themes: “Life is Diverse; Life is Inter-connected; Life is at Risk.” Dramatic central displays illustrate global biodiversity, while perimeter ecosystems explore connections amongst diverse species. The gallery also comprises a broadcast studio and a live animal presentation space called Earth Rangers Studio, a coral reef aquarium, and a leaf cutter ant colony.
