The 3700 SF residence with multiple decks overlooking the intercoastal waterway (ICWW) was nicknamed the ‘Scandinavian House’, for its simple lines, unique, boxy geometry and clean grey & white exterior palette. With a distinctive location on one of the narrower sections of Wrightsville Beach, NC; the house allows for 3rd floor view decks of both the Atlantic Ocean (east) & Motts Channel (west). The project team included the general contractor, Bennett Construction Group; structural engineer WD Jones; interior designer Aida Saul, and was photographed by Rachel Carter. The house features fiber-cement siding, stained cedar accents, bronze accordion style exterior doors, and exposed steel columns & railings, etc.
