This house is in Tokai City where is producing area of Butterbur.(We call "Fuki" in Japanese)
the house is for Father and Mother to enjoy their life after retired. Because they already raised their 6 children up!!
Their children can bring their child(Grandchildren) anytime for play, talk, and sometime party. It sounds warm home.
When you work into the Reinforced Concrete Gate, You will be at wide space. And there are a space of parking for visitor next to their own garage.(for 2 cars)
The entrance ceiling height is 3.5 meters. And We designed a roof of the entrance like leaf of Butterbur. Imagine, when you under the roof in the rainy day, It looks like take shelter from the rain under the big leaf. What a Charming!
We selected an Ireland Kitchen. Because when they do a home party, It's easy to help for cooking with each other. And around the kitchen, There are many storage, a comfortable space and calculated housework traffic line. but also not only that! One of place in the kitchen has a Venetian mosaic tile. It makes around the kitchen so beautiful.
The garden in front of Living room is surrounded with a fence. but inside, There are wide space than you imagined. And the sunlight and the wind comes into the living room naturally.
They can see their grandchildren when they playing in the garden from the living room.
At 2nd floor, There is a Terrace. In summer, Can watch the Fire Works(Japanese traditional summer events) from the Terrace. That's such a special seat for only them!! And south side of the house is a Park. That's greatest view from the house.
Solid plate of red cedar, Diatomaceous earth, Unglazed tile, Mosaic tile, Polished tile, Walnut flooring and Ryukyu tatami.
They have an each face, And living in the house with the Family.
Butterbur's flower language is "Charming" and "Party". We hope the house will be the place for gathering of the Charming Family.
