Inazawa City is located in Nagoya suburb. Inazawa City is Known as a crowded residential area but a lot of fields and rice farms are also found so it is actually a quite calm and comfortable city. It could be a great city for raising a child.
Even a house in a crowded residential area like Inazawa City, if it is a one story house, further open feeling can be expected.
Our plan is to build the one story house by fully using the site area, and create an inner garden and the courtyard in the center. Parking is on the north side of the house.
This house is surrounded by two stories houses so first we paid close attention to protect residents' privacy. We solved this problem by considering the angle of the roof. It can obstruct neighbors' sight moreover, the angle of the roof is also the key to good wind ventilation and direct sunlight for the house.
When you look at this house from outside, it looks a simple one store house, but when you work into the house, you can get a feeling of openness under the sunlight.
This is a comfortable house which giving you sense of security by obstructing neighbors' sight.
Reduction of partition between rooms, and also between inside and outside create a large open space where children can play.
Parents also can watch their children are doing wherever they are.
