In the beginning, the sun slides into the building through the slit. Then it turns...
Technically:
The steel structure jumps over the existing changing rooms, supports the stands and shelters the audience from rain and sun. Inside the geometry, above the existing building, it creates a beautiful space, used as a training track, naturally ventilated and benefiting from wonderful sun light movements. The inside space is naturally cooled through the grating slit and heated by the sun passing through the glass skin. The steel frame is as minimal as possible. Raw concrete steps are both the stands floor and the track roof.
