This institutional project is part of the complex rehabilitation of the dilapidated old Santo Domingo Convent.
The design program’s goal is to recover some of the domestic buildings the central courtyard of the cloister and a colonial backyard, which would host up to five shops and a bar / restaurant.
The project includes the survey, study and diagnosis of the state in which the building is in, to intervene and set the recovery plan in motion, including its consolidation and protection program. The spaces are mostly simple and functional, but always maintaining a balance where the structure is in harmony with the building and the existing environment.
