This
project is a summer house close to the Atlantic Ocean,
located 40 km from Punta del Este,
Uruguay’s international
resort community.Working with the particular conditions of the land, the
long width significantly enhances and dominates longitudinal dimension with a
large portico. The same framing links the two housing and service spaces with a
central courtyard that also separates them. The main housing space is developed into an interior patio
of white pebbles. The same natural stone is incorporated in a sculpture of Indonesia at the
pinnacle of visual access. This courtyard also provides natural lighting and
ventilates the kitchen and bathroom service spaces.Native marine plant species are used for cover and play a
fundamental role in integrating the building with nature.
