When Sanghavi Realty first approached us, their brief was quite clear. They wanted a distinct design that was functionally innovative. Over further discussions, we conceptualised a space that stood apart from the rest in its approach to a 20-storey urban commercial building; the design was to be such that it would bolster productivity and prevent the sense of being cooped up often associated with workplaces. We decided to give the occupants a whole lot of breakout zones that catered to different purposes. These included cafes and lunchrooms, others were lounges and boardrooms. Most offices feature green balconies.
We aim to transform Ahmedabad’s landscape by creating a multifunctional landmark that enhances both its urban and social fabric. The project maximizes retail exposure through strategic site planning, fosters a collaborative workspace for businesses, and offers amenities that promote work-life balance. The tower is to be divided into three distinct sections. The structure boasts a triple-height lobby with a stunning 40-ft-tall indoor waterfall, the first of its kind in India, along with levitating forest greens. A four-storey base integrates retail into the urban environment, ensuring high visibility and footfall.
A 10-storey middle section hosts offices and recreational zones, while a sleek crown defined by glass-and-metal fins comprises premium areas. The office floors are designed to maximize efficiency and collaboration, featuring large floor plates, breakout balconies, and conference and board rooms. The design offers social amenities like art galleries, cafes, gyms, meditation rooms, and lounges. The terrace, free of mechanical services, enhances functionality by hosting events, turning a traditional commercial building into a cultural and recreational hub. The building’s integration of diverse materials like matte-finish aluminum fins, brick, concrete, and glass lends a unique aesthetic identity. Each aspect of the project is thoughtfully designed to enhance productivity, wellness, and engagement for every user. The project’s seamless mix of retail, office, and recreational spaces, coupled with a 400-ft frontage along key roads, makes it a standout destination in the commercial real estate landscape.
Our design further sets a new benchmark for environmentally conscious commercial development. We envision the use of low-emissivity glass and argon-filled double-glazed panels, minimizing the heat inflow. This increases comfort for its occupants and significantly reduces the need for air conditioning with the building. The air conditioners use Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) technology that uses the minimum energy required to maintain a comfortable temperature. Additionally, the building features a water recharge system that lessens dependence on local water sources, and an on-site sewage treatment plant enables water reuse for gardening and flushing, thus implementing sustainable resource management techniques.
