These buildings are part of an overall campus that includes three more shell office buildings, a parking structure, and a specialty rehab hospital. This site is located directly west of the St. Rose Dominican Hospital, San Martin Campus on Warm Springs Road. There are four one-story, shell office buildings located on the San Martin Medical Campus. The campus is located in a portion of newly developed southwest Las Vegas. Each building contains 10,398 square feet and is designed to house up to four tenants.
Materials that blend with the surrounding desert were selected for the exterior of the buildings. Quartzite, sandstone, weathered metal, and stucco are utilized to clad the buildings. More refined materials like perforated metal and steel are used near the entries to help transition from outside to inside.
Between the buildings are long courtyards with integrated seating and desert landscaping. Additional seating is also integrated into the entrances at the corners of each building creating an exterior waiting room.
This 10,208 square foot suite is divided between physical therapy (2,768 sf) and orthopedics (7,440 sf). Along with therapy areas, there are twelve exam rooms, four treatment rooms, an XRI and MRI suite, along with offices and workstations.
Since the exterior of this existing structure is skinned with natural materials of stone, concrete, and steel, these finishes are continued throughout the interior of the building and enhanced by complementary materials such as travertine tile, cork flooring, natural linoleum, recycled content carpet, and quartz countertops.
