Bull Stockwell Allen was commissioned by the San Francisco Yacht Club to site plan and design a new Regatta Center that would accommodate larger events and help to attract the next generation of members. The new center replaces a smaller and outdated facility and it will serve as the club’s function and meeting spaces. The new building is sited to take advantage of the views and open up to an updated event lawn for larger gatherings. Special consideration was given to the appropriate scale and style of the building in order to relate to the SFYC’s main club building and surrounding neighborhood.
