The design involved the redevelopment of the external environments of the Venice Boat Show and the North Arsenal, both for the permanent ground spaces and for the temporary exhibition and service installations. The area of the North Arsenal before the intervention was partially destined to deposit rubble and waste equipment. The first action was the removal of superfluous materials freeing all the areas concerned. The area of the minor basin and the ports of call has been redesigned in terms of roads and spaces to be equipped by modeling the surfaces and keeping the existing materials wherever possible. In the remaining areas, stabilized material was used, surrounded by metal blades driven into the ground. Metal and wood structures have been adopted for the set-ups to form modular frames useful for the composition of the exhibition stands of the refreshment and relaxation areas. The location of the fittings has tried to interact with the context of value, enhancing the visual cones and enhancing the views.
