Soligorsk is a new territorial brand created by Belaruskali for the development of the tourist potential of the city of Soligorsk. Thanks to the development of the brand, it is planned to turn it into a place of attraction of Belarusian and foreign tourists.
The creation of pavilions will be the initial stage of launching the Soligorsk brand, in the future it is planned to create exhibition stands different levels of difficulty, and also to create an architectural seafront with a recreation area (water sports), souvenir shops, restaurants and cafes.
For the development and creation of the Soligorsk brand, including strategy and design, NEF\TBWA agency specialists were responsible.
The design concept of the first Soligorsk collection was based on the layering of potassium rock as a symbol of the city, which was once founded in connection with the industrial development of a potassium field. Within the city's brand, the production of souvenirs, foodstuffs, and a collection of clothes under the Soligorsk brand was adjusted. The ZROBYM architects team was directly involved in the development of exhibition pavilions for the promotional products sales. At the moment, three pavilions are located in Minsk in the fan zones of the II European Games of 2019 near Minsk-Arena, Palace of Sports and Chizhovka-Arena. It is expected that after the Games, the pavilions will be located in iconic places of Soligorsk.
For the pavilion, it was chosen a simple, clean, laconic form of the parallelepiped. It has twelve doors that are open to all guests. Eco-friendly materials were used, the pavilion is designed in natural, warm colors. In the dark, tape lighting is used, which forms a clear, cozy interior. LED strips, located vertically at the doors ends, emphasize the rhythm of the created structure and illuminate the space around the pavilion.
The logo of the city of Soligorsk, as well as a wavy picture of the rock, is applied on the main counter; it is expected that it will appear on the facade of the building. A drawing of bright colored waves made of marmoleum, which symbolize the layering of the rock, is applied on the floor.
The pavilions were produced by the construction company "Modern Frame House", the construction was supervised by Alexey Tarnagursky.
