The Raines Law Room

Sale Center

Oro Building project

The Oro Condominium, located on
306 Gold Street in Downtown Brooklyn, offers modernly renovated luxury
apartments.

The project’s challenge was to
revive the Sale Center’s lifeless apartments, on a minimal budget and within a
short period of time. Delphine Mauroit brought into play her artistic touch,
creative ideas, and a vibrant range of colors, designs and accessories. A
careful choice of furniture, paintings, and wall décor altered the dull
atmosphere of the rooms and created a personal, inviting tone.

In the Studio Apartment, the
kitchen area is an integral part of the living space, and thus matches in
colors and style to the rest of the apartment. Colors white, wood and silver
dominate throughout the space, while hints of ruby and pink make their way
around in the form of pillows, candles and artwork. A verse by the French
songwriter Benabar graces the maroon wall, suggesting how simple love could be
without all the expectations imposed by society. This original wall is
transposed to the rest of the apartment, creating a chic, yet warm ambience.

A different, more temperate ornament
was used to adorn the One-Bedroom Apartment: bamboo foliage shoots out from the
parquet floor through the stark white walls in the kitchen; and plain black
& beige flowers pop out the gray wallpaper in the bedroom.

The Two-Bedroom Apartment is
stylish and elegant. The living area is led by colors white and dark-brown,
with touches of dark red. The sobriety of the space gives the room a sense of
grace and sophistication. In the master bedroom, sensual tones of plum, latte
and dark chocolate, along with the tough angular wooden furniture and the
natural accessories, evoke stylish vibes and a warm home-y feel. The child’s
room was enhanced with pastel bands of pink, blue, yellow and green, some of
which are crossing from one wall to the other leaving a trace on the ceiling.
The light colorful walls and furnishings, contrasting the dark hard wood floor,
provide the right mix of flair and innocence. Although each room is unique in
its own way, each fits perfectly well with the others.

The Offices offer class and
comfort. Soft silver satiny velvet chairs are awaiting their guests by the
windows to show off the glamorous view of Downtown’s Brooklyn and Manhattan's
skyline.
