certification. Their philosophy is
to respect both the animals and the environment. The building uses green techniques such as passive-solar
design, innovative and super-high-efficiency mechanical systems, and natural
materials. One goal is to have
people come for the animals and be excited by the green design, and conversely
for people to come to see the green technology and fall in love with an animal. Currently under construction.
