Designed with a blissful urban lifestyle in mind, Sada Residence is situated in the North area of Bucharest, Romania. The project location benefits from its natural surroundings such as forest, lush greenery and water. Sada Residence aims to redefine the well-known residential building concept and bring novelty through newly proposed amenities, aimed at enriching daily life for its residents. The North Area of Bucharest is developing at a fast pace, with both residential and office buildings, thus Sada Residence blends in very nicely with this synergy.
The structure is defined by the use of a module which works like a portico, creating a solid base. This module has a repetitive pattern both horizontally and vertically. With an underground base, Stereotomic, and a repetitive module, Tectonic. The dynamic of the architectural piece is given by the composition of the modules. Looking at it as a whole, this modular composition looks as if it floats, having only a few continuous closures which highlight the relationship between the base and the verticality. Every apartment has a big modular terrace with large openings and green areas which create a relationship between the building and the outer green area which surrounds the entire residence building. The modular structure allows big openings through which natural light overflows the interior. The ventilated facade helps to create an indoor environmental quality. Also, the project has been designed with the latest sustainability principles in mind, such as energy efficiency. The use of natural materials will ensure the building ages gracefully in time.
The residences are different, both horizontally and vertically, so this type of structure gives residents the freedom, flexibility and mobility to transform the space as they wish. You can find spacious loft-style apartments and penthouses. Residents can enjoy an outdoor pool, spa, gym, bar, events hall, play ground for children, library, concierge service 24/7 and large gardens where they can socialise and unwind. We envisaged a white and simple piece of architecture, full of light, clean, free of decorations, free of colors, using only white marble and glass, a timeless design to define the new way of living in Bucharest.
