建主様の要望は明確で、外側は出来るだけ閉じ、内側に対しては家族同士が常に見えるように、部屋は余計なものが無くシンプルにしたいということで、全てガラス張りの中庭を採用し、光と風を最大限活用できるようにしました。それにより、中庭を通して家族全体に視線が行き通ることが可能となりました。また、北西に建つ既存倉庫を車庫とする為、買物帰りの奥様がすぐにアクセスできるように勝手口を兼ねた裏玄関を設けました。そこに似せたくない冷蔵庫類をまとめることで、家事動線もスムーズになり、団らんの場をすっきり見せる造りとする事が出来ました。

Request from the owner of the house is clear, because the owner wants to shut the house from outside space as it is possible ,and provide trancparancy and visual connection along the family member inside the house.We designed a glass style courtyard to make full use of natural lighting and ventilation.By doing so every family member that pass through the courtyard could be visible to each other. Also, because we turn the old storage in the northwest side of the house into a garage, we provide a back entrance so the owner wife can access it easily when return from shopping. By put together similar function in one place, the housework flow of activity become smoother, thus we managed to create a very harmonius space.
