"Ruin" is a museum space, simultaneously representing an independent object of exhibiting. The peculiarity of the wing design is "ruinization" - we emphasized it with the help of light: a functional and aesthetic lighting solution is harmoniously presented in the historical context of the room.
Awards Silver Sign in the Restoration and Reconstruction category at the 13th Zodchestvo international architecture festival.
For the restored Ruin we designed the professional multi-functional museum lighting — universal track light fixtures enable shaping of the environment itself, highlighting the exhibits, and providing the necessary level of overall illumination.
The light brings attention to the historic brickwork of the walls, the staircases, and the vaults, and the resulting exposed illuminated vaults recreate the atmosphere of Escher’s engravings.
The flexible lighting solution is optimized for implementation of variously complicated scenarios that depend on the exhibit’s objectives.
