Designed by Tago Architects under the leadership of Architect Gökhan Aktan Aktug who undertakes projects in Europe, Middle East and Far East with their offices located in Tokyo, Bucharest, Kiev and Dubai in addition to the head office in Istanbul, the Roya Nova project, a work of Roya Yapi, rises between Umraniye and Atasehir, the living hubs on the Anatolian side and right next to the Finance Centre in Istanbul.
At a 800-m distance from the Finance Centre and at walking distance to Nezahat Gokyigit Botanic Garden, the 32-storey building Roya Nova being one of the largest ones in Turkey, also attracts attention thanks to its proximity to subway and bus stations. Upon its completion, the building will accommodate 255 flats in a 28.800 sqm construction area.
The Roya Nova project, which integrates functionality with modern materials in its design offers high quality living spaces and has been configured by Tago Architectswith a transparency that would respect the intensive urban surroundings in the region. The 30-storey tower is expressed as two different masses located on a commercial sub-mass. Its basic parameters that shape up its design are the quality of light, a panoramic view, effective integration of service areas and interaction with the existing urban surroundings. The building’s design dramatically distinguishes the tower from its surrounding environment. It is thus intended to inspire accessible and sustainable approaches for other towers to be built in the future.
One of the most significant touch in its design is its ability to meet both social needs and business needs without any limitation. In order to meet such a function, social facilities, meeting halls, recreation rooms, sports units as well as outdoor meeting corners are present. The lobby and commercial spaces serve to the needs of the tower. The project supported by commercial units forms an interface owing to its proximity to the finance centre.
Roya Nova is a meticulously planned building project which mostly satisfies the desires of modern man to yearning for more in a rational way without totally discarding or compromising on it. It offers a living space that is efficient in every sense of the word and is open to personalisation by allowing landlords to avoid the financial burdens of many functions they will not have time to use in the first. The facade design that provides this as well as interior space that enhances the net area use support these living spaces. The architectural design aims to minimise man power by allowing the 255 rooms to be located in such a way so as to benefit from solar energy to its maximum level. The architectural design of the project has been exclusively designed to be environmentally friendly.
