Sports Complex project - a modern space for sport and community
The design of the Sports Complex was aimed at creating a unique space that invites athletes to move and passers-by to get closer to nature and water sports. The buildings are designed with an architecture that captures the movement of rowing, the basic action of the rower, the silhouette and openness of the oars. The volumes of the sports complex not only reflect the main functions of the buildings, but are also open to the public, thus encouraging the community to become actively involved in sporting activities. The uniqueness of the sports complex is also reflected in its functionality: the buildings not only serve as sports facilities, but also invite the community to participate in, observe and enjoy sporting activities and the natural scenery.
The importance and uniqueness of the project
This sports complex stands out for its innovative architecture and its importance for the city. It is not just a sports facility - it is a space where sport, nature and community meet. It creates a link between the city's inhabitants and the River Neris, inviting passers-by to discover new forms of sport. The building blocks are arranged in such a way that the area is easily accessible and visible. The terraces offer the opportunity to watch competitions on the River Neris, while the courtyard space opens onto the Tuskulėnai Manor, creating a unique interaction between sport and nature.
The complex becomes a living attraction that combines sport, architecture and the beauty of nature, transforming the city into a space for active entertainment and healthy living.
