Remodeling of Row house in Ikuno Ward

It is the downtown area of the urban area, a crowd place of an old wooden house, and the house called the tenement house still exists a lot.

I go to the reduction direction as consumption activity now. The times to demolish it, and to rebuild it pass and think that it is the times when it continues and continues living.

Not the nostalgic feelings "that an old thing has good", realistic correspondence depending on need is pressed for.

A downtown area of Osaka, here many tenement houses are left.
This tenement house was gradually dismantled until late years, too, and rebuilding had been pushed forward, and only two houses were left now. Earthquakes will influence it; incline, but is built somehow.

When these two houses were buildings by the same person and thought about keeping some strength when I redecorated one, I thought about the structural strength with two.
Nagaya who examined remodeling turned into the owner several times, and it seemed to have been redecorated little by little, and an aspect was different considerably in comparison with a tenement house not to redecorate each time.

In the redecorated tenement house, a parking lot was on the first floor, and the wall of the road side disappeared. I seem to do setback in comparison with a neighboring tenement house.

At first I decided to make a new wall to the old facade of the tenement house which was not redecorated. Two facades make new space.
I keep structural strength by making the wall which can take the strut with this state.

The old people who were able to live do not live in the downtown area tenement house, and owner in itself becomes old age again, and unoccupied house rates increase now.
The advantage of the downtown area having good convenience to transportation and prices being low. A youth demands these, and there should be demand, but the supply side is delicious, and correspondence is thought that there is not it.

Purchase it cheaply among them, and there is the acquaintance who is redecorated in own, and lives, but is attractive still more; may not give presentation.

If such a method spreads as one of the choices not a uniform apartment, I think that I can change from the times of the conventional scrap and build to the times of the renewable energy.
