An addition and remodel of a 1960’s ranch house.
This design was based on the idea of using the qualities of traditional ranch house design to reflect the modern ideals of the residents. The low open spaces were intended to maximize the intense light of the front range and magnify the connection of the occupants with the landscape around them. Subtle colors and materials were chosen to magnify the spacial experience.
