Roti De Forest Saiburi is a renovation project,The original building has a black mass building therefore designed it to be more airy and still keep the original trees in the area.we designed by using the white arch facade entrance to be attractive and airy saw the original trees in the site area. the arch facade entrance choosing the location of the entrance to match with position of the bar making roti and beverage for seeing the process of making and giving a vibe of Roti restuarant, which is a distinctive identity of the locals. And taking hole original wall to see through trees behind the restuarant for reduce the mass of the original building.
The arch facade entrance are inspired by Pintu Kurban, the cultural entrance of the area, as well as the cultural of Roti restuarant, but designed to be modern form with straight geometry and transparent to allow the wind to pass through. And can seeing the green space in the site area ,giving the area a cool and comfortable feeling.Designed to be straight form to contrast with the free form of trees for make trees stand out even more.
The building was designed to be extended to connect to the original building. and shape close to the original building by preserving the original trees in the site area.Designed by Modern form,but using materials and colors that blend with trees.Creating an airy, cool, relaxed atmosphere suitable for meeting and dining as Roti resturant.
