The existing rooftop terraces on two levels of a viennese rooftop extension were totally redeveloped together with um.land landscape architecture.
On the upper level new wooden decks in thermally treated ash give warmth and comfort, elevated beds together with the new planting design divide the space, a Fundermax seat box creates waterproof storage space.
On the lower level new dividers and the planting form a sheltered retreat. Over black slate quarry steps of ash lead to a wooden lounging deck.
