A porch for a existing house. The large roof supported by gentle curved pillars covers there like herbaceous plants try to collect sun light. The figure as a big plant connect the house and environment gently.

The roof uses sandwich structure with punching metal plates of 2mm, which create a hard panel allowing light to pass through. The different size of hole on each plate makes soft sun light. A polycarbonate panel is set on it to keep out rain.

Gentle curved pillars support vertical load by vending moment and axial tension, which makes elastic and tenacious structure with using the character of steel. A couple of pillars crosses at right angles and they are welded together at the crossing point, which reduces their displacement and enable them to support the stress toward each direction.
