Rome &
Juliet is a luxurious four star hotel located in the historical centre of Rome,
just a short walk from Castel Sant'Angelo, St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican
Museums.
The
structure that houses the Rome & Juliet is a charming six floors Roman
mansion that hides inside the view of the oldest medieval bell tower: that of
the church of Saint Lucia del Gonfalone.
A large
frosted glass frame indicates the entrance to the structure, it allows the glance
up to the space of reception, that looks like a private home thanks to the
choice of specific elements of furniture. This environment, completely
overlooking the street, it becomes a filter between the reception of the hotel,
spa and restaurant, and hides the characteristic features of the accommodation
facilities.
Large
arches left rough, in the restaurant, bear witness to the history of the palace
and become the frames of the new volumes, covered with a modern wood paneling,
fit in the space, giving form and pace the room. Ancient and contemporary come
together creating a dynamic, elegant and refined.
On the
upper floors and corridors adjacent to the vaulted ceilings, are placed 24
uniquely designed and modern suites. The comparison between old and new,
ancient and modern returns to characterize these spaces, where hand-crafted
wooden furniture fit in plasterboard walls juxtaposed to the legacy left to
rustic. Glass walls separate the bedroom from the bathroom, giving the
perception that the two spaces are a never ending one. Paintings, lamps and
other pieces of furniture of famous designers enrich the suite whilst ensuring
guest comfort and feeling of familiarity.
In the
attic, the fifth floor of the building, is located on the large terrace: a roof
garden of 120 square meters where you can enjoy moments of relaxation
accompanied by drinks and music but especially from one of the most fascinating
capital, painted cupolas stand out against the background of red sunsets.
