Habitation unifamiliale à Malmedy.
L’habitation s’implante en contre-bas de la voirie principale du village.
L’accès à la parcelle se positionne perpendiculairement à la route secondaire afin de limiter le dénivelé entre le domaine public et la maison.
Le projet tire parti des lignes de force du site en se positionnant parallèlement aux courbes de niveaux et en s’inscrivant dans la pente naturelle du terrain.
La synthèse de la composition se résume à un mur contre terre en pierre et un volume en bois placé devant.
Les façades sobres expriment clairement un espace séjour ouvert ainsi qu’un volume nuit/services plus fermé.
La continuité intérieure du mur en pierre accentue l’appartenance du séjour au jardin.
Les deux paliers du terrain et le positionnement du volume en bois créent l’intimité des espaces généreusement vitrés.
La volumétrie à toitures plates entièrement végétalisées préserve la très belle vue sur la vallée à 180° pour les habitations situées en contre-haut, de l’autre côté de la voirie principale.
L’ensemble est ainsi parfaitement intégré au paysage.
Le mobilier intérieur sur mesure a été conçu afin de fusionner totalement avec l’architecture.

The house is located below the main road of the village.
The access to the plot is positioned perpendicular to the secondary road in order to limit the height difference between the public space and the house.
The project takes advantage of the main lines of the site by positioning itself parallel to the contour lines and fitting into the natural slope of the plot.
The project’s composition can be summarized by a stone wall against the ground and a wooden volume placed in front of it.
The sober facades clearly express a living space opened as well as a night/service space more closed.
The stone wall continues from the outside to the inside of the house to increase the belonging of the living room to the garden.
The two different plot’s levels and the position of the wooden volume give privacy to the glazed spaces.
