This upcoming project is a study in quiet restraint, environmental responsibility, and material clarity. Designed with a carbon-sequestering strategy at its core, the home utilizes cross-laminated timber (CLT) for its structure—reducing embodied carbon while storing it long-term. Every design decision was driven by sustainability: from passive solar orientation and natural ventilation strategies to the careful selection of renewable, low-impact materials. A restrained palette of muted tones complements the project’s environmental ethos, creating a calm and enduring atmosphere.
