Robeson County envisioned its new facility for the Department of Social Services as a place that would help facilitate its goal of providing comfort and help to the community. With this in mind, Little’s design team sought inspiration from the nearby Lumber River. The design features three, two-story buildings linked together by a "bridge". In addition to a main waiting area, components of the building include an adult services area, a daycare, a juvenile court and training rooms. This project is LEED Silver Certified.
