Thriving and adaptive – Riverine City is a living ecosystem supporting sustainable progression at all scales.
A vibrant new city along the coastal front is strategised to advocate Well-being for All. The 4.4km Riverine City envisons a "Live-Work-Play" decentralised urban framework for a dynamic mix of programmes at various distances and degrees. Supporting this is the holarchy systemic approach, where strategies are simultaneously the whole and part of the bigger picture.
Navigating through Riverine City is prioritised to champion greater "Planet-People-Place" interconnectivity. Green spaces and outdoor areas are designed as central nodes, ensuring interaction with Nature and enhancing biodiversity at every proximity. The continuous presence of greenery allows more than nurturing a common ecological corridor. These green areas assist at small scales in providing moments of nature respite and a break from the urban ensembles. Beyond the on-ground public spaces, sky gardens and rooftop spaces – public and semi-private- are also part of the green strategy to tailor different harmonious work-life dynamics. For instance, the Eco-business district's integrated viewing decks contribute to the seamless naturalistic landscape at all levels in the overall masterplan.
