The Ritz Pool Bar in Lisbon is part of the renovation project for the terrace and galleries of the Hotel Ritz Lisboa, which aimed to respect the existing architectural design of the building, which holds significant historical, heritage, and architectural value.
With a perfectly circular shape, the Pool Bar was conceptually designed to be an integral element of the urban resort concept developed for the terrace. The Pool Bar itself has an organic and natural feel. Its complete openness and extension to the terrace create a welcoming atmosphere, inviting people to enjoy a drink or snack while still being outdoors. The brown and green terracotta tiles, designed by Openbook and produced by the Viúva Lamego tiles factory, seamlessly blend with the greenery of the surrounding garden.
The conceptual approach was complemented by the selection and design of furniture pieces and a colour scheme that enhances and unifies the concept. The furniture pieces were custom-made to provide high comfort and elegance to the Pool Bar while maintaining harmony with the existing architecture and the sophisticated yet relaxed ambience. The lighting in the space was carefully planned to create a warm atmosphere suitable for a quiet, pleasant evening or a special event. The lighting fixtures are simple, discreet, and modern, designed to harmonize with the architecture.
