This campus complex creates a dynamic
new entryway to the College, connecting a lower parking lot with the
multi-level campus quad. Consisting of two
new 3-story adjacent buildings with similar architectural language, the 34,000
sf Student Services Center and the 14,300 sf Student Union Building, the
project consolidates several student services while providing a pedestrian
pathway that links a complex network of buildings and terraces at three
levels.
The Student Services Center gathers previously
dispersed departments including Admission, Financial Aid, Counseling and
Student Health Center under one roof.
The Student Union Building includes the Student Lounge and a
semi-circular dining hall that opens out to a terrace and seats up to 750 people.
The two buildings are a composition of
exterior materials including metal panels, concrete block, glass and
stucco.
