dD+P provided design services for the rehabilitation of Ridgewood Station, a historic site listed on the State and National Registers of Historic Places. General improvements included two full-length high-level platforms with canopies and lighting; accessibility improvements included modifications to the ticket window, installation of an accessible unisex restroom, a new pedestrian underpass to allow access to all areas of the station, and the addition of accessible parking, curb ramps, and sidewalks to reach the new platforms and existing station building. Riders are now able to use Ridgewood Station to reach other accessible stations along the line such as Ramsey, Rutherford, and Hoboken Terminal.
