Architectural and interior design for the new headquarters of Ricicla Srl, a leading company in the recovery and disposal of special waste, located in Acquaviva delle Fonti, in the province of Bari.
The project resulted in the creation of a modern industrial building that integrates a logistics area with offices furnished using contemporary design solutions. The architecture is characterized by the essential and minimal lines of the building’s structure, constructed entirely with prefabricated concrete elements, ensuring durability, aesthetics, and functionality.
The main façade is dominated by a double-height corner glass window, which highlights the office entrance. This bright and welcoming space features an exposed iron staircase that connects the lobby to the first floor, adding a touch of elegance with an industrial twist. On the upper floor, the meeting room is strategically positioned, offering a privileged view and natural lighting through the large glass window, which creates a visual dialogue between the interior and exterior.
The interiors are designed with a sustainable approach, enhancing reclaimed materials creatively and with meticulous attention to detail. For instance, the desks were crafted from construction planks, repurposed into functional design elements. The staircase, clad in galvanized steel corrugated sheeting, reflects an industrial aesthetic, making it a distinctive and sustainable feature. Operational furnishings, selected from the Quadrifoglio catalog, combine ergonomics, style, and quality, completing an innovative and comfortable workspace.
Even the decorative details align with the concept of creative recycling, in line with the company’s activities: iron sheets are transformed into artworks, reclaimed wood becomes wall sculptures, and plastic materials are reinvented as stencils for unique pieces. All decorations were curated by Pleroo Galleria, emphasizing the value of reuse as a key element of the project.
