RH 29- House In- Flux
Form moves through form in ceaseless play,
where night is born inside the day.
It leaves, returns, then leaves again
And… “my house stands here and sings.” – Tarjei Vesaas

In the midst of a growing part of the city of Hyderabad, Telangana, India in the heart of Financial District - one finds a place for abode. RH29- an architecture of convergence, where opposites pool, not merely to resolve but to resonate. A space to call home, to come back to, to lean onto, to lean into, to be able to get away from> yet, a becoming/ a feeling of togetherness calling upon it. An intense force pulling and tugging- creating a wantonness to come home.
This architecture does not only rise upward, it pools inward.
A B S T R A C T I O N
RH29 is a house in constant state of movement; a state of flux. Built on a ground that knows the masculine- assertive, angular, anchoring; and lets It lie with the feminine- fluid, yielding, wavering characteristics>>>aspects that seek togetherness, that blend into a form of tension, attraction and sometimes a quiet surrender.
This is not about balance; this is a dialogue.

FOCUS | Elevation_ West
RH29 is one that has shifting focus. Eye is entirely engaged in capturing the movement.
DRAPERY | Beds
Fabric as it falls, folds, pools and gathers- especially in the kind of studied, almost sculptural seen in Renaissance masters- few ambitious objects fabricated in steel of this architecture are falling> folding> pooling and gathering like a fabric.
PIROUETTE | Staircase
An act of spinning on one foot>this ceaselessly changing motion of curves to liberate and find itself back into rigidity of angularity of a simple sharp line.
PARTING CURRENTS | Doorway
As the ocean waves move away from each other, whilst they also seem to be getting together at another angle>> the entranceway to RH29 is a massive curve opening to let in/out as currents do.
GRAVITATING | Surface Dips_ Elevations
To grow toward each other> an aspect of architecture where the surfaces dip ever so suddenly so needfully toward a ground/ a surface, almost sentient in architecture.
STILL COIL | Pendant light_ Zari
A line that did not end- it only turned> looped inward like a thought returning, then rose again, slower, softer like breeze on concrete… suspended in motion.
KINETIC STILLNESS | Swing
A line of light loosens itself from the ceiling descending not as an ending, but as a continuation. It gathers into a seat; a brief pause in its own movement_ before rising again_ not a swing placed in space, but a memory passing through it.
