In cooperation with the architectural office Mutant Arch. Media, a living space was designed in Salzburg / Aigen, which is far from the all sorts of things and close to that, which can mean living: an experience.
RFW 8 is a luxury apartment project of the Bullbau GmbH with 8 residential units in a quiet environment adjacent to a nature reserve near Salzburg.
The apartment B1 / XX extends over two levels. The lower floor level with access, office, guest room and bathroom, is located on street level and has been designed as a climatic buffer.
On two sides, a halo was dug into the slope. As a result, most of the rooms on the ground floor can be supplied with daylight and the wind-protected terrace, which is reached via the office and the guest room, creates an additional offer for relaxation in the fresh air.
The arrangement of the rooms zoniert the areas from the entrance coming clearly into semi-public and private areas. In the private sector, an efficient interior design was implemented according to the customer's requirements, without severely limiting the floor area.
The basis for a quiet and clear effect of the rooms is set by a uniform materiality of floor and furniture. Through the use of textile, color, wallpaper and light are atmospheric accents set.
The basic idea for the central living space was to create a space where the kitchen, living and dining area were organized as an open unit.
A communicative and social center - a light-flooded place that emphasizes the desired generosity of the residential area and offers an impressive panorama on the great salzburg mountains. In addition to the cozy living / dining area, the fireplace is built into a wall projection, which is clad in slate, even without a blazing fire authenticity and a lot of atmosphere. A neutral color scheme in beige / gray shades in symbiosis with a material mix of glass, stone, crude steel and wood underline the attractive contrast.
