The Rfc+ Collection is a response to our fascination with the purity and tradition of glass materials.
The Royal Glass Factory possesses an extraordinary collection of moulds and includes over 4.500 models of incontestable historical and artistic interest and veritable factory hallmarks. From among these models, twenty-two moulds have been selected to create a collection that is made up of thirteen pendant lights. Each mould has a unique identity and background. Some have been revived after a long absence and are now being used again as a tribute to their history and to create the clear glass positives that form part of this collection. These glass items are manufactured in the kilns of the Royal Glass Factory using the traditional technique of glassblowing with a punty.
The main material is colourless, revealing the pure essence of its volume and origin and creating an interconnection between tradition, technology and natural beauty.
The light source is an exclusive piece designed and produced in Madrid by LED-Y so that it illuminates its surroundings while also backlighting the glass itself.
The final product is dedicated to those whose care, hard work and passion ensures the continuity of the Royal Glass Factory of La Granja de San Ildefonso.
