Contemporary business space in a bright and dynamic design which is convenient for small groups and individual businessmen, as well as appropriate for business meetings and pitches – this is how architects of IND Architects saw the REWORK co-working club. The main idea of increasingly trending co-working clubs is to enable a workplace lease – be it a mini-office or an individual box-room – with all office necessities: meeting rooms, service premises, coffee points and services of accountants, lawyers or secretaries.
Vigorous and business-friendly vibes of the club are brought about through a functional and bright design that brings all premises together – orange waves of REWORK logo channel off the entire club and come out in the ceiling and wall structures, as well as in decorative fixtures. The club unites representatives of various fields, therefore the architects decided not to emphasize specific directions, but fill the design with ingenious details that reflect a modern way of working. For example, infographics has become a bright design element: one of the walls of a big 200-seat conference hall is decorated by the club’s logo. Highlighting with scenarios that can be set up for various tasks and plasma display panels offer a great opportunity to brand up the hall and hold different business activities there. A well-thought-out acoustics system and mobile partitions allow dividing the hall into two separate zones.
Hallways and walls of the club are decorated with prints of statements, images and companies that were or are progressive for different times – e.g., inventors are inspired by Einstein and Jobs, while pictures of business people encourage startup entrepreneurs.
Visitors are “welcomed” by a bright reception zone. There are armchairs and a creatively different low table at the elevator. Attention is drawn to a highlighted perforated timber wall that manifests the companies with representative offices allocated in the club. There is a café behind the reception desk where you can not only have a quick lunch, but easily hold interviews and meetings too.
