Revolucion Apartments fulfills the steadily growing demand for
dwellings in central areas of Mexico’s capital city. A renovated and a
new part merged into one single building and form a nine-storey building
with retail in ground floor and 40 apartment units with two or
respectively three bedrooms in the upper floors. There is a sky garden
with shared amenities on the roof. Each apartment unit counts with a
private parking lot in the basement.
The facade design supports the formal expression of the building; the
eight residential floors appear as boxes, which are shifted one to the
other, an effect that favors the existence of offshore balconies for
each apartment unit. Every second box features vertical louvers and add
privacy to otherwise exposed terraces. The louvers also serve as sun
protection.
