The house of Trajko Ristic at the corner of Obrenovićeva street and King Dusan street was built in 1935. in Nis, a city which has been raging for several years and spread the Modern movement. The house is a classic example of "architecture before the World war II" in the spirit of modern architecture that is transferred from Belgrade continues from Europe by the designers of the Vienna art school. House floors Bs + Gf+1 takes angular plot on the corner of two busy streets, and known also for its specific architecture belongs to the protected city buildings. However, negligence or other reasons, this facility has long been out of order and left to the ravages of time, a partial restoration of the original woodwork and a change was a few years ago by the "Piraeus" bank that is licensed to use this facility. Application of revitalization, this facility should be preserved and protected from deterioration, give it a new purpose, possibly to increase the number of floors blend with its surrounding environment. The last item is very complex and requires further analysis because both sides of the building (with access from these streets) has just completed construction of a shopping mall "Srbija", which in that part of a Gf +5 floors and fully glass facade. We tried to change the function and purpose of the facility to the public closer to the inside of the building and upgrading more than one floor mounting glass facade elements with high contrast, alleviate the unnatural combination of modern building in the first half of the XX century and the vast glass complex that looms over him. We shared object on horizontal division into three zones: the ground floor is gallery space, office space is on the first floor and a restaurant with a small balcony is in the extension.
