Adaptation of the listed building. The historical functional sequences are used and the original rooms are analyzed in detail. The exterior design of the building remains unchanged (with the exception of necessary technical installations), the conversion measures concern the interior. All components that form part of the building envelope will be reconstructed in line with the preservation of historical monuments, i.e. visually identical, while the new elements in the interior will be deliberately designed as architecturally contemporary.
On this basis, non-original fixtures on the first floor and second floor will be removed and the spacious rooms restored. Incorporation of the spatial and functional program of an operating unit with a mixed function (gastronomy, brewery with adjoining event hall). Two new access cores will be built to ensure evacuation. On the upper floors, the existing structure remains virtually unchanged, while the existing former maintenance corridors are integrated or supplemented in the new concept.
