Embodying the ideals of the classic European way of life, Retro brings us back to indulge in the authentic neighbourhood French café lifestyle.
We returned to the fundamental colours and proportions of a French cafe to deliver the elegancy and subtlety our client called for. The entrance and interior ceiling is filled with the brand colour inspired by the French mulled wine Vin Chaud. A simple combination of walnut with chaud red and latte beige made up the colour palette for the café.
The entrance window and internal walls were carefully divided with mouldings and trimmings to form an orchestrated rhythm for the deep shop. The whole café was occasionally highlighted with soft spotlight and copper trimmings to lighten up the purposely dimmed space.
Retro strives to provide only the best of the best quality coffee and beverages, by respecting the time and efforts put into the preparation process of each and every drink. Our goal is to curate a French-inspired café that strives for excellence in coffee, fosters intimate interactions between baristas and customers, and induces nostalgia with the interior setting.
