More details on portfolio website Group work with Li song, XiaoDong Su,XiaoMei Liu, Yunzhi Zhang.& technical support from Yang Yu.Traditional digital modeling tools have focused on mouse, keyboard and stylus input. These tools may have the limitation to give a better understanding for audiences to get the main idea of the exciting designs. We seek to bring physical interaction to digital modeling, to allow users to use existing physical objects as tangible building blocks for new designs. In order to achieve the target, we propose a new paradigm, Tangible User Interfaces, which argues for having some of the virtual user interface elements take on physical realities. Generic remote sense devices input (e.g., remote wireless laptop connector, 2D code cube) are primarily used to manipulate these virtual interface elements. The combination between physical modeling, digital data and mechanic engineering will allow audience to explore new ways of integrating movement, music with visual display in content variations for the physical model, creating the biggest difference between a mixed-reality model and a traditional physical mode.
