Seidla windmill belonged to Seidla manor and was built in XVIII century, in 1920-s was bought by the miller whose farm was near the windmill. In 1989 was last restored, but because of the lack of interests in the beginning of Estonian Republic in 1990-s the windmill was standing still. The new owner from 2008 onwards restored the building and all the machinery, restoration work was completed in 2009. The architectural work consisted of Heritage preservation requirements and architectural restoration drawings. The windmill is the first working dutch type windmill in Estonia after the end of traditional milling in 1960-1970-s.
