BEERTEKA is a project where engineering and the aesthetics of the industrial era intertwine into a cohesive architectural symphony. One of our most beloved works, it is a project to which we devoted an extraordinary amount of time, attention, and creative energy.
In designing the interior, we aimed to create a space that is not merely styled after an American brewery, but one that fully immerses the guest in its authentic atmosphere. The architectural language is built on honest, “working” materials — brick, steel, solid wood, and copper. Their combination is not decorative but functional: metal structures bear actual loads, wood serves as genuine working surfaces, and copper accents bring warmth and visual rhythm.
A key element of the concept is the integration of a fully operational brewery with authentic industrial equipment directly into the interior. It is not hidden behind glass but becomes part of the guests’ visual and emotional experience, allowing them to observe the beer brewing process in real time. This not only enhances authenticity but also creates a unique philosophy for the project, merging gastronomy and architecture into one holistic space.
A striking feature is the restaurant’s dramatic double-height space. It not only forms a powerful architectural statement and a sense of scale but also allowed us to introduce additional seating levels, increasing capacity without creating a sense of crowding. The generous height amplifies the play of light, lending the interior a sense of grandeur and weight.
Upon entering the hall, guests are greeted by a focal composition — a “beer library” of more than 3,000 bottles, displayed like a museum collection. This element is not mere decoration but the conceptual core of the space, from which both visual and planning logic radiate.
The furniture was custom-selected and designed as part of the architectural narrative. Leather armchairs and sofas — including a unique piece inspired by Cadillac car seats — create a tactile and visual contrast with the raw industrial surfaces. The layout adheres strictly to HoReCa requirements, with thoughtful placement of tables, bar areas, and circulation paths to ensure seamless staff operations and maximum guest comfort.
The interior features bespoke Loft Industrial design solutions:
Sliding tables on machine-tool tracks
A giant light fixture that changes its illumination throughout the day
Chandeliers in the shape of turbine ventilators
An overhead hoist adding authentic industrial mechanics to the composition
Panoramic windows connecting the interior with the street, complemented by steel shutters that create a dynamic interplay of light and shadow
A distinctive feature is architectural transformability. Steel mezzanines and a stage mounted on automotive lifts allow the hall’s configuration to be instantly adapted for concerts, festivals, or intimate evening events.
For us, this project is a testament to how complex engineering solutions can be harmoniously fused with expressive aesthetics while maintaining absolute functionality. BEERTEKA is a living, dynamic space where every detail serves the overarching concept — and the concept itself dictates the form, material, and atmosphere.
