The site is located at map 2497 RFD of the municipality of Bellinzona, Claro Section. The main orientation of the parcel is East - West with vehicular accessibility along the last end, facilitated by the alignment at height with the neighboring municipal road and the original geomorphology of the parcel. The triangular-shaped site borders to the south with a municipal road, to the east with the 1959 parcel bounded by a concrete wall of constant height and to the west with the 116 parcel, mainly covered with humus and a small (rustic) building. The residence is located within a moderately sloping area with a marked decline towards the center "like a basin", without major topographical irregularities. Structured on three levels, the new building stands dominant and equidistant from the adjacent maps; of volume and shape resulting from the building availability, a single pitched roof crowns the aforementioned levels without gutter along the entire perimeter. A small canopy next to the south facade and in harmony with the rest of the building in materiality and color, will serve as an external shelter and outlet on summer days. From top to bottom, the sleeping and living areas and lastly the service spaces and garages are articulated through a single central vertical circulation axis running along the entire north facade. The technical roof (attic), reachable via a small screened and isolated staircase, remains as available space / storage The service area (cellars, storage, laundry, garage and technical room) fully underground act as a base integral with the main structure and consistent with the perimeter development of the project. The project capitalizes the space on the ground through the formation of a private driveway that connects the municipal road with the large square located towards the west within the parcel, in an attempt to exploit the underground areas on the cellar floor and free up the volume that it composes the inhabited floors above and the perimeter surface predominantly used as a garden and particularly as a hanging garden (to the north).
