Located in a residential Rome district, Italy, LAOFFICE designed a green energy home with swimming pool. The pool keeps a rectangular formation. Extending at left angles from the home, it is accessed by a deck that wraps the backside of the residence. As an additional green feature, a large, fenced vegetable garden is located on the east and west. The house is positionated on North-Sud axis, with cantilevered flat-roof to catch the maximum solar power during the winter, and maximun protection from the sun's rays in the summer. The houses livings, are opened on the swimming pool court, that with some plants are going to create an organic garden. An organic garden is very important to have a free-cooling system in autumn e spring periods.
