Designing a home is designing a lifestyle!
This residential flat located at plush locality of Bandra, overlooking the sea was supposed to be used occasionally by our Mauritian client during his business trips to Mumbai. The main objective was to have a minimalistic approach with an elegant design.
Layout was kept simple and we opted for clean and straight lines in our design. We came up with some interesting details and combined two different veneers with inserts of wall papers thus giving uniqueness to the treatments of wardrobes and beds. Overall a light and soothing feel was obtained. An earthen color palette was followed all over. Since, the client was supposed to visit occasionally, the ease of maintenance was an essential factor, finishes such as mirror finished vitrified flooring, polished veneer surfaces, duco paint finishes were provided. Blue pearl granite on kitchen tops with seamless corian finish on shutters made the surfaces re-polishable and long lasting. The furnishes further added to the homely feel, especially the wooden roll down curtains for the big openings to the balcony in the Living room for that exclusive feel of a beach side house.
