The main idea of this project was the idea of creating the most favorable conditions for living in the projected apartment complex, the more that these houses are for people involved in active mental and creative activities, working at the intersection of the most innovative areas of science. People related to this field of activity are known to continue to do it even after leaving their immediate workplace. Also, these people needed an active and comfortable holiday, for recovery is not so much physical as mental and emotional forces.
Everything described above led us to abandon the idea of terraced houses, offer of companies that develops the concept of the master plan for the site. In addition, we believe that this type of development is destroying the island adopted zoning.
So we decided to create within the territory (circle) area for relaxing in a park with playgrounds for sports and leisure, with the pond in the center on the banks of which it would be nice to spend time after work. This would allow the inhabitants of the area to spend their leisure without leaving the area in the immediate vicinity of their homes.
At the same time all the buildings are arranged around the perimeter of the circle, which also provided an opportunity to emphasize the principle of building the island. What would keep the proposed area of the apartments we have increased the number of floors of buildings, as that would have arisen effect wall around the site and visually lowered to the height of buildings, the houses are designed in the form of arches.
The plane of the courtyard is raised to 120 cm. above ground level, making it possible to place underneath an underground parking for 290 cars. Rising at the level of the court is carried out between the arches of houses. In the immediate vicinity of the house there is a pedestrian esplanade with bike paths and sports fields, then park with pond, restaurants and pavilions for the rest.
Also, we thought it appropriate to bring a transit road outside the site and place it at a tangent to the bypass road, passing around the perimeter of the site. From branches of transit road, located adjacent to the bypass ramps leading to the parking lot. There is also a shopping complex with a guest parking. Also, small guest parking is on the street level next to the lifts leading to the courtyard. The first floors of houses at the bypass road located enterprise welfare projects. On the south side is a two-storey kindergarten. Entrances to them are carried out both at ground level and at the level of the courtyard, which gives the opportunity to visit other areas of their residents, not getting into the courtyard.
Inputs to the stairwells and lift lobbies are carried out both from the garage and from the level of the court.
